Ms. Mendieta’s Physical Education

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to our 2022-2023 school year!

My name is Betty Mendieta and I am in my 16th year of teaching. This is my 8th year at Franklin School. Throughout my career at North Bergen I have had the privilege of coaching a variety of sports such as girls Varsity Soccer, Outdoor Track & Field, and girls Varsity Basketball. In my spare time, I am involved with the USA Basketball Youth Development Program, NY Knicks, Junior Knicks, and NY Liberty organizations. 

My teaching philosophy is built on character and respect. I am a firm believer that there is a significant amount of life lessons that can be taught through sport which is why Physical Education is an integral part of your child's development. I am extremely passionate about my job and enjoying hearing from parents/guardians. Please do not hesitate in reaching out to me via email.
