Welcome! I am Mrs. Miyar , your child's second grade teacher I have been a teacher in North Bergen since 2015. This is my 5th year at Franklin School . I worked as a World Language Teacher in the district of Fort Lee  for two years, and before that I  worked in the Head  Start Program for 15 years. I studied in Jersey City University where I graduated with a Bachelor in Early Child Education. I continued my studies in Salamanca and Deusto University in Spain where I acquired  a Master in World Language and Multicultural Background. I'm really excited for another great year with my students!  It is always my goal to convey a love for life and learning in my students. I look forward to meeting you and having a successful year!
