Welcome to our English as a Second Language class! I am Mrs. Vidal and I am very excited to be your ESL teacher this year. Together we will build your academic, social and English skills.

The mission for the North Bergen ESL/Bilingual Program is to preserve our students' heritage (linguistically and culturally), while expanding their skills and knowledge in order to achieve full integration individually and socially within the mosaic of a global culture.

The North Bergen ESL/Bilingual Program's vision is based on the premise that students are individual and resourceful learners. They will acculturate into a system that validates and promotes their self-worth while expanding their knowledge into an English environment within our global society.

VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION

In the event of virtual instruction please know that assignments will be found on Google Classroom (see links on side menu). It is IMPORTANT that students know their Google E-mail and passwords in order to enter Google Classroom.

- All assignments should be submitted by their due date.

- Submitting Assignments: Assignments can be submitted to the teacher's E-mail. Some assignments are submitted automatically through the websites on which the students are working. Pictures of the completed assignments can also be E-mailed to the teacher.

Daily Attendance - Please be on time for your Google Classroom meetings.

En el evento que la instrucción sea virtual, por favor tomen nota que las tareas se pueden encontrar en Google Classroom (ver enlaces en el menú lateral). Es IMPORTANTE que los padres y estudiantes conozcan el correo electrónico y contraseñas de Google para ingresar a Google Classroom.

- Todas las tareas deben someterse para la fecha asignada.

- Envío de tareas: las tareas se pueden enviar al correo electrónico del profesor. Algunas tareas se envían automáticamente a través de los sitios web en los que trabajan los estudiantes. Las fotos de las tareas completadas también se pueden enviar por correo electrónico al maestro.
