WELCOME to Mrs. Rodriguez's Website!

Mrs. Rodriguez joined the North Bergen School District 6 years ago. She has been teaching for 23 years, and has 17 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Rodriguez has a BA in Psychology and a P-3 from Montclair State University. Her years of experience, and the fact that she is a product of Bilingual education herself, make her a very committed and culturally aware educator. She truly enjoys teaching and serving students and families, in such a culturally diverse community like North Bergen.

The mission for the North Bergen ESL/Bilingual Program is to preserve our students' heritage (linguistically and culturally), while expanding their skills and knowledge in order to achieve full integration individually and socially within the mosaic of a global culture.

The North Bergen ESL/Bilingual Program's vision is based on the premise that students are individual and resourceful learners. They will acculturate into a system that validates and promotes their self-worth while expanding their knowledge into an English environment within our global society.
