Principal's Message

Hello Everyone!

 

My name is Hamza Abdelhadi and I am the principal here at Franklin School.

 

      I have been an educator in North Bergen for 16 years now.  I began my career as a physical education teacher at Lincoln School before transitioning to the high school after 1 year. I coached football and basketball for 12 years as a way to connect with my community and be apart of school activities. After 9 years, I decided that I could better serve the students as an administrator.  Although I enjoyed that job immensely, I wanted to challenge myself and continue to grow as a person and as a professional. I encourage students to always challenge themselves and with that, I wanted to practice what I preach by reconnecting with students in a way I never knew could be so satisfying.

 

      Please know that my number one priority is your child's educational journey.  I try to create an environment that is fun for your child, with an emphasis on the importance of education.  Our school is a safe place and a community for your child to grow and be successful in his/her future endeavors.
