Welcome to 6th Grade ELA

My name is  Ms. Yokum and I'm so excited to be your teacher this year! We are going to dive into and analyze novels, poems, and short stories. We will even create some of our own! My goal is to create an environment where my students feel comfortable as individuals and empowered to push themselves, make mistakes, and learn from those mistakes. I firmly believe learning and growth do not happen without mistakes and failure.
