Guidelines for a SAFE & FUN Halloween at Franklin School
- All students in grades 1 through 8 are allowed to wear costumes to school on October 31st.
- No weapons
- No masks allowed to be worn in the classroom
- No high heels
- No overly revealing costumes
- Inflatable costumes are not permitted to be worn in the classroom. They are permitted during the parade only.
Annual Halloween Parade
- All students in grades 1 through 8 will be allowed to participate in the Halloween Parade.
- Parade begins at 1:15 pm and will be held in front of Franklin School.
- Parents can stand across the street from the school on the sidewalk.
- Students will begin the parade by exiting the main entrance of the school and parading along Columbia Avenue between 52nd and 53rd Streets. Upon conclusion, the students will march back into the school via the main entrance.
- North Bergen Police will be present.
