Virtual Learning Procedures

Rules for Virtual Learning

I would appreciate every 8th grade student to follow and adhere to the following online virtual classroom rules:  

 Please wear appropriate school attire when attending class (proper shirt and shorts/pants, no hats).

Choose a quiet place in your house where you can do your best to concentrate on assignments.

Log in with your SCHOOL email and respond for attendance every morning.

Be prepared for ELA, using Google classroom - check Daily Lessons, connecting to the Reading program (My Perspectives) through Clever.

Please have supplies ready and available to complete work (supply list is on web page).

When we are “LIVE”, I would encourage students to please be visible (show your face).  I haven’t seen your faces in a while!

 

Be considerate to your classmates, stay MUTED until I ask you to participate in the lesson.  School rules apply as well (warnings, contact parents, and principal/vice-principal).

Ask any questions/comment in the “Chat” on the side; please write/respond in complete sentences.

Please “turn in” assignments on time under the correct date.

If you are having any technical difficulties, please contact me immediately through my school email; only using YOUR School email.
