Home Instruction

 

 

Any student who will be absent for longer than 2 weeks may require a home tutor. Please reach out to gather all information needed.

 

 

Injuries

 

If your child is returning to school with an injury, please obtain a doctor's note for the absence and return. Please read the section that pertains to your child's condition. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our health office for assistance.

 

If your child has CASTS, CRUTCHES, SLINGS, SPLINTS, OR OTHER ASSISTIVE DEVICES- A physician's note is needed. It must state the nature of the injury, any limitations or restrictions and the dates the student is excused from physical education and recess.

 

**PLEASE REMEMBER THERE IS NO ELEVATOR AT FRANKLIN SCHOOL. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE STUDENT'S DOCTOR IS AWARE OF THIS WHEN WRITING MEDICAL NOTES FOR INJURIES.

 

If your child has any of the below conditions, they will need to be placed on home instruction until it is resolved:

 

  • Crutches 
  • Leg Cast 
  • Boots 
  • Canes 

 

A physician's note is required for the student who needs to be placed on home instruction. Please see the health office as possible to arrange for a tutor.
